The last two weeks

This Sunday we woke to another "fake out day" for the tourists. What is a fake out day? It is that time of year that many people travel to Florence on vacations. School is now out for their kids, it is vacation time and they head for the Oregon coast. The weather is bright and smaller amounts of rain each days, and, thinking this is how it is all year, they come. The beauty of the dunes and riding all day with family and friends...heaven to many. So they come.

Us here, well we continued to get ready to leave. The vehicles were vacuumed today getting ready for the new owner of the van, and the Pontiac for getting ready to sell. More boxes for the smaller things that still need packing and a full day tomorrow.

Shipping shack for something that needs to be recycled, the Pontiac over to the prospective buyer, seeing my old boss, the bed that a friend bought picked up... cleaning and ..... wait for it.... more packing.

Tuesday... vet appointment Wednesday more packing and sorting and cleaning. Waiting for the papers for the dog. one day both ways in the mail should be able then maybe Thursday or Friday.
